Gingerbread Parade - Participating Business Spotlight: Hurst Ace Hardware General Store

Hurst Ace Hardware General Store, located at 160 North Bluff Street will display a gingerbread house by local artist Kimberly Jackson. Ace Hurst General Store started out as a small "five in dime store in Panguitch Utah in 1946. Hurst Ace Hardware is now conveniently located in St George on the corner of Bluff Street and St. George Blvd. Hurst is not your average Ace Hardware with 30,000 square feet of lawn and garden, paint, tools, fabrics, sporting goods, clothing and workwear, feed and not to mention the most complete nut and bolt selection in town!" Did you know they also have a small post office inside? This provides convenience and that is not all - you can also get a little free popcorn while you shop. My son's favorite things to get here are toys! They have a great selection of games, puzzles, crafts, and other neat toys. Our community is lucky to have Ace Hardware Hurst General Store. We are grateful they are participating in the St George Gingerbread House Parade this year.

The gingerbread parade begins December 2nd - runs through December 14th. At Ancestor Square on December 14th from 1:00-4:00 PM join us at the Holiday Market - co-hosted by Downtown Farmers' Market where we will silent auction the gingerbread houses. We will also have prizes and a bake sale. Proceeds will benefit the St George Children's Museum. If you are interested in having a vendor booth, please contact the Downtown Farmers' Market.
