Gingerbread Parade - Participating Business Spotlight: Affogato West at West Village

Affogato West started out as a food truck over at Red Rock Bicycle Co. and then had the opportunity to have a "brick and mortar" location over at what was once Unicorn Hatch Labs. Then, owner Elise was going to move to a downtown location when she was presented with the opportunity to take over the lease for the whole building - on 1000 East. This building used to be a movie theater when I was a kid growing up in St. George, now it will house a whole new concept - not just a cool place to hang out and get coffee, smoothies or cocoa, but it includes a stage for open mic nights and room to showcase local artists, and much, much more. Additional information can be found in the about section on Affogato West's Facebook page. Like her page to keep up to date on what's happening now. Elise and her vision for Affogato and West Village are positively one of the best things to happen to St. George, Utah.

The gingerbread parade begins December 2nd - runs through December 14th. At Ancestor Square on December 14th from 1:00-4:00 PM join us at the Holiday Market - co-hosted by Downtown Farmers' Market where we will silent auction the gingerbread houses. We will also have prizes and a bake sale. Proceeds will benefit the St George Children's Museum. If you are interested in having a vendor booth, please contact the Downtown Farmers' Market
