About St George Gingerbread House Parade

The St George Gingerbread House Parade was founded in 2019. The origins date back to 2012 when local business McArthur Jewelers hosted the then Gingerbread House Tour for the historic downtown St George businesses along Main Street. The organizers have switched hands over the years and in 2019, local resident Melissa Daams, founded the organization after learning it wasn’t going to be organized this year. Her goal is to bring together area businesses, benefit a local nonprofit and create an idyllic family and community Christmas experience. She has opened up the event to all area St George business to get involved.
