2019 - Gingerbread Parade - Participating Business Spotlight: Main Street Antiques

Main Street Antiques is a family-owned business and has been participating in the gingerbread tour since it's inception in 2012. They hire Muddy Bees Bakery each year to make their gingerbread creation. This year was no exception. I am told that each year, there is always a hidden bee somewhere within the creation, but this year, they covered the gingerbread house with little bees and it's my favorite 😁

The Shoppe is feeling festive, they have an amazing gingerbread creation on display and yummy complimentary peanut clusters coming soon. Such a fun time of year!
When one really enjoys the vintage life, what better way to live it than to shop local, shop small, support this small mom n pop antique shop. Truly a way to shop green than to give in to the consumerism machine. Plus, it's just plain fun to take a trip down memory lane, see quality workmanship of the furniture from an earlier time. See the old toys that used to be at grandma's house and reminisce of days gone by. I love nostalgia, I think I get it from my Dad. And what better way to experience that than in an antique shop.

Main Street Antiques is listed as number 4 on our Gingerbread Parade map. Come check it out, vote for it and be entered to win a chance at $50 plus other neat prizes. Want to buy it? This gingerbread house, as well as 20 others, will be up for auction, Saturday afternoon, December 14th, 1:00-4:00 PM at historic Ancestor Square in downtown St. George at the Holiday Market. Proceeds will benefit our local St. George Children's Museum.

A spooky themed gingerbread creation from another year.
Do you see the little bees? Little bat-bees - also made by Muddy Bees Bakery of Hurricane, Utah.
