Gingerbread Parade - Volunteer Baker Spotlight: The Iglesias Family

Tell me about yourself.

We are the Iglesias family, (Monica, Beyza, Kaylie, and Frank),  friends of The Haven Assisted Living Center. We are not professional bakers, far from it. But we are a creative and artistic bunch. We saw an opportunity to help out doing something we love, so we embraced it to have some quality mother/daughter time together, and even my husband pitched in. Beyza is 14 and was the Landscape Architect on the project and all decisions went through her. Monica, the mother, was the baker, building architect, and co-creator. Monica is also an Author of Child Empowerment books, a Singer, and a Resin Artist 435-215-8994.

Monica has a resin art workshop coming up this week if anyone is interested.

And her books can be found here

The Haven at Sky Mountain is listed as a number 19 on our tour map. It is in Hurricane. Hurry out there and vote for it. All votes will win a prize.

Here are some of Monica's resin art pieces:

Thank you Iglesias family for your participation in the St George Gingerbread Parade this year. I think the replica of The Haven in gingerbread turned out beautifully.
