Covid Update - Kickoff to Christmas Event Cancelled

 Due to Covid related surge in hospitalizations in our community, the City of St George has decided to cancel a number of events, including the Kickoff to Christmas. What does this mean? It means that our parade map which is normally distributed at the Kickoff event will not be. However, we can still get it to you digitally here on the website, we will post it on our social media accounts and the gingerbread houses will still be on display at the participating businesses! The Gingerbread Parade tour still begins November 30th and ends December 12th. 

The city will still turn on the Christmas lights so you can still drive downtown and see them on display. We just want to limit the amount of crowds in an area to flatten the curve of those affected. 

Please remember to wash your hands often, use your mask in public places and 6 feet spacing in crowded areas. Also, if you feel sick, please stay home. Just don't end up like either of these two gingerbread cookies:

Participating Business Spotlight: Tifiny's Creperie

  Tifiny's Creperie 567 S Valley View Drive St George, UT 84770 Open: M-Sa 10am - 7pm Tifiny's Creperie is participating in this year's St George Gingerbread House Parade. The gingerbread house will be on display from Monday, November 30th through Saturday, December 12th. Come in and have a look at it and vote for it! It will be made by volunteer baker Caitlin Reber assisted by Suzanne Webster. I also recommend getting a bite to eat here, after seeing the gingerbread house. Tifiny's Creperie serves up Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Though their staple items are crepes, sweet crepes as well as savory crepes; they also serve soup, salad, sandwiches and teas. 2021 - Spotlight on Volunteer Baker, Kayla Monson

But she has a team ready to help her: husband and two darling daughters will all make it happen. Thank you for volunteering. I appreciate ya'll.  They chose to do theirs for Dixie Rock & Fossils because like me, they like rocks. And we rock people gotta stick together.  Kayla is no stranger to creativity though, she's got a sweet  business called Dixie Wreath Company where she makes the most adorable wreaths.  And she loves to bake.
