2021 - Spotlight on Dinosaur Discovery Site
In the bathroom at the museum! |
Stop #12 on Gingerbread Parade Route
2180 E Riverside Drive, St George
Hours: Thursday - Monday 10:00-5:00
This is the third year in which the Dinosaur Discovery Site has participated in the Gingerbread Parade. We thank you. We love the Dinosaur Museum. Mikah Harrison is the volunteer baker that will have her gingerbread creation here. You can read about her on the blog as well.
This is a great place to visit and bring friends and family. Explore and discover in the comfortable indoor facility where you will find an Early Jurassic ecosystem complete with dinosaurs, fishes, plants and more.
And, as a gift giver, I love the gift shop as well. Museums often seem to have the best gift shops. This one is no different. Is your child a dinosaur lover? This is a great place to pick out some gifts for that loved one. And is a good way to support the museum, even if you have been in again and again. I've selected some cool things from the gift shop in my photo dump below.
Remember to pick up your map at the Kickoff to Christmas tomorrow night, Monday, November 29, 6:00-8:00 PM at Town Square. The gingerbread houses will be on display for the next 2 weeks. Collect a stamp from each location and turn in completed stamped maps for a prize at the Homemade for the Holidays market at Atwood Innovation Plaza, Saturday Dec 11, 1:00-4:00 PM. I will be at the Children's Museum booth near the music! As the Dinosaur Discovery Site is closed Tuesday and Wednesday, be sure and come by later in the week to see there gingerbread creation and awesome gift shop - then take a tour through the museum!
