2022 St George Gingerbread House Parade

Show off your uniquely made gingerbread creation at this year's Homemade for the Holidays Market!

About this event

I am here to announce that the 2022 St George Gingerbread House Parade will again happen this year. Last year’s event was a great success. I heard feedback from businesses and participants

that really enjoyed it, loved going to new businesses to support them and trying out their food,

buying a product, or trying their service; and look forward to it again this year.

Our community really does like to support local small businesses and so do I. :-)

However, due to lack of funding we are changing up how we do the event. It will not be a

fundraiser at the expense of small businesses. And many families with small children have asked

that the Gingerbread Houses be in one place to see them. So we are giving them what they want.

I am partnered with the Downtown Farmers Market and the display of uniquely made gingerbread

houses will be located for one day only at the Homemade for the Holidays Market at Vernon Worthen Park, 300 South 400 East, St George, Utah. The event is Saturday, December 17,2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Let me tell you why this is bigger and better. Since teaming up with Downtown Farmers Market,

we have the success of this location and attendance numbers to really impress.

They have been having an attendance in the thousands since the market was moved to

Vernon Worthen park.

This will be the last farmers market of the season and then the farmers are given a 6 week break

until the new season begins in February of 2023.

And now some points for your consideration:

  • Gingerbread Lane (all gingerbread houses in the covered pavillion)

  • Kiddy Kane Lane (Kids under 18 vendors)

  • Bakers, Artisans, and Farmers

  • Live musical performances

  • Emceed event

  • Xmas Sweater for your pet contest

  • Food trucks

  • 3000 attendees plus

  • And lots of giveaways!

The purpose of this event is to provide a magical Gingerbread House Tour for the children and

community. We want to spread Christmas cheer.

If you should choose to participate, we would love for you to bring your uniquely made gingerbread

house to the tour at Vernon Worthen Park. Space is limited so, please sign up at the link below.

If you would like to donate to our cause, we could really use the support to help pay for advertising

and promotional materials. I have listed some recommended donation amounts or you can give as

little or nothing if you want.

The St George Gingerbread House Parade is a non-profit and you will be given a charitable receipt

after your donation is received.

Sign up Here! Donate, too (optional)

The deadline to participate in this community event has been extended to December 10.
