Gingerbread Parade - Participating Business Spotlight: Hurricane Valley Heritage Museum & Bradshaw House

The Hurricane Valley Museum is a small museum detailing the history of Hurricane, as well as the pioneers that built the town. Maintained by the Hurricane Park Heritage Association, the museum highlights include period artwork, artifacts, and a historic wedding cake dating back to 1907!

While in the area, take time to visit the Bradshaw House/Hotel, also operated by the Hurricane Park Heritage Association. As the oldest permanent home in Hurricane, the house provides a unique window into the town’s history. Over the years the structure has been used as a home, Sunday school, boarding house, and hotel. Today, the house serves as a museum, with exhibits detailing the history of the house and its residents. And it's adorably cute! I love historic homes 😊

Hours/Seasons: Both museums are open Monday through Saturday, 9am – 5pm. Fees/Cost: Both museums are open to visitors free of charge. Donations are accepted.

Both museums are listed as number 20 and 21 on the tour map. These museums together with The Haven are considered bonus tour stops as they are outside of the St. George area but had express interest in participating in the event. Please take some time to visit the museums while you see their gingerbread houses on display. According to my research, a good 1.5 hours is suggested as the time needed to go through both museums.
