Gingerbread Parade - Volunteer Baker Spotlight: Coleen Sevy

This year Coleen will be baking a gingerbread creation for M&S Turquoise, same as last year. M&S Turquoise is listed as number 8 on the map. M&S Turquoise is a supplier and wholesaler of Native American and Southwest Jewelry and Crafts. Tell us about Coleen.

As a young girl, Coleen grew up learning to cook with her mom. Her mom always said that she wasn’t so fond of cooking as eating something that tasted good. So everything that came from her mom’s kitchen was not only tasty but looked divine. From this tutoring, Coleen has developed a love and respect for the beauty of food and bounty. Her favorite moments are sitting together as a family with a beautiful meal or dessert to share together. Sometimes she feels the need to experiment with her creative energy and participate in events such as the Jubilee of trees, where she has decorated trees for many years as well as gingerbread houses etc. This is her second year entering a display in the gingerbread tour and hopes that those who participate will feel the joy of the season and the sharing of time with friends and family🎄Merry Christmas ❣️

Merry Christmas to you, too. Thanks for your participation in the parade this year. I so enjoyed last year's creation, as I bought it. And I love the pieces Coleen has created this year. Now for some images of Coleen's creations and baked yummies.

Coleen certainly has a keen eye for placements, this meal above looks especially appetizing.
