160 N Bluff Street
St George, UT 84770
Hours: Mon- Sat 8am - 8pm; Sun 11am - 5pm
Hurst Ace Hardware is again participating in this year's St George Gingerbread House Parade. The gingerbread house will be on display from Monday, November 30th through Saturday, December 12th. Come in and have a look at it and vote for it! It will be made by Kim Ettinger of Crumbs.byKim.
Founded as a five in dime store in Panguitch Utah in 1946. Hurst Ace Hardware is now conveniently located in St George on the corner of Bluff Street and St. George Blvd. Hurst is not your average Ace Hardware with 30,000 square feet of lawn and garden, paint, tools, fabrics, sporting goods, clothing and work wear, feed and not to mention the most complete nut and bolt selection in town! Though I am a fan of the toys and game section.
Hurst Ace Hardware gives to our community in so many ways, such as being a founding sponsor of the Jubilee of Tree benefiting the Dixie Regional Medical Center each November; and through the annual Hurst New Year Scramble golf tournament Hurst Ace Hardware has raised over $5,000 to support the Doctor's Free Clinic of St George; and by sponsoring a gingerbread house in this year's St George Gingerbread House Parade; as well as in a myriad of other ways.
I will be in - to purchase my son a Lincoln Log Cabin set because Hurst Ace Hardware carries the best selection of "old fashioned toys" and the best old school and classic games. I also go in quite regularly to stock up on my yarn (I'm a crazy yarn lady) and whenever my son is with me, we visit the toy aisles and take pictures of the stuff he wants - it's a visual wish list for mom - see a few below.
So, let's show our appreciation by supporting this family owned business and shopping local this holiday season.
