Have you ever wondered about what the M&S stands for in M&S Turquoise? I have - so I asked. M stands for Milne and S for Sevy. These two men started the M&S Turquoise wholesale business. Okay, let's back up a little bit. Let me give you a brief history in a nutshell. I am at the M&S Turquoise retail showroom talking to Brett Sevy, son of Mark Sevy. He is telling me the history. He said that a long time ago when he was a little kid, his dad and mom went to Hurricane with a briefcase full of Native American jewelry and arts, turquoise and silver type jewelry. They were wondering if anyone would be interested in this stuff. So, they took it to Hurricane to try and sell, and they sold all of it! So they thought, people must like this stuff and started the business. At first, it was mostly wholesale and they sold in Las Vegas.
